Information For Authors

In this section, authors are given general information about the application process and the post-application stages:

  • You can submit your article to the KOSALB International Journal of Human Movements Sciences (kosalb) after registering at onkosalbjournal.com and uploading it through the system. Applications by mail are not accepted.
  • All communications during the application process are made via e-mail and the website.
  • It is recommended to check the spam folder in your mailbox in case the emails go into your spam folder.
  • To contact us, you must use the address info@kosalbjournal.com.
  • All articles must comply with the journal’s rules on format, spelling, content, etc. Articles must comply with the template.
  • Articles that do not comply with the journal’s format shall be rejected without being evaluated.
  • Articles submitted to our journal must comply with publication ethics.
  • English full-text articles are published in the KOSALB journal. While making your application, you must not include your personal information such as name and surname on the article you wish to have published.
  • When uploading the article for the first time, the names of the authors must be fully entered in the registration form to be filled in on the website. During the review process, author names cannot be added to or removed from articles.
  • The articles must have original content. They must not have been sent elsewhere for publication or published already.
  • The author(s) must obtain the "plagiarism" report for their article and upload it to the system during the application process.  (Articles must be checked with a similarity program such as Turnitin or iThenticate, the similarity rate must not be over 20%).
  • The copyright of a published work belongs to the journal. All ethical responsibility of published works belongs to the author(s). Authors take full responsibility for copyright infringement, plagiarism, or other violations.
  • Authors must take care to follow all guidelines. Articles that do not comply with the specified guidelines shall be returned.
  • It must be checked whether in-text references for each reference in the bibliography are given in accordance with the instructions.
  • Even if accepted, articles may not be immediately published in the following issue. The review process of articles varies according to the workload of reviewers.
  • No royalties are paid for published articles.
  • It is recommended that the appropriate size of the manuscript is around 3000-7000 words, reasonably 10000 words. Also, the manuscript should not be longer than 17 pages including the references. 
  • If the manuscript exceeds 17 pages the author should explain the reason for that in the letter to the editor.
  • Concerning studies that require permission from the Ethics Committee, information about the permission (name of the committee, date, and number) must be included in the methodology section and also on the first/last page of the article.
  • In the case of reports, information about signing the informed consent/approval form must be included in the article.
