AI Use Policy

To ensure transparency and uphold academic integrity, the following guidelines apply to all submissions involving artificial intelligence (AI):

AI-Generated Images

AI-generated photos or illustrations are permitted. Authors must clearly label such images as “AI-generated” in the figure captions and include appropriate acknowledgments in the manuscript.

AI-Generated Text

The use of AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to generate text must be explicitly disclosed in the manuscript. A statement detailing the nature and extent of AI assistance must be included, either in the acknowledgments or a dedicated disclosure section.

AI-Assisted Interpretation of Original Data

When AI tools are used to assist in commenting on or interpreting original tables, figures, or data, this use must be disclosed. The journal reserves the right to employ AI-detection tools to evaluate such content. AI-assisted commentary is allowed only if it is transparently reported and verifiably grounded in the presented findings.

Prohibited Use

AI-generated content that is not based on the paper's own research findings is strictly prohibited. This includes fabricated discussions, unsupported claims, or generative content unrelated to the study’s data or objectives.

Non-compliance with this policy may result in desk rejection or retraction after publication.
